The Pertex® Quantum outer material used is extremely robust and offers protection from the wind. In addition, the trousers are breathable, water-repellent and easily stowable, which means they can be packed small and stowed in the backpack when ski touring. The PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation 100% Eco filling made from recycled material provides excellent warmth and breathability. This insulation provides ideal warmth without a large volume and is also a real lightweight.

Gran producte de Schöffel que desafortunadament no hi ha suficient detalls a la web. Els shorts (talla 48) son molt lleugers (188g sense stowbag i 198g amb stowbag), es comprimeixen a aproximadament la mida d'una ampolla de 500ml. La cintura és elàstica però la part davantera incorpora un cordó per estrènyer la cintura. Zip de qualitat (YKK). La foto de la web no correspon a la realitat respecte la cremallera, la cremallera obre de baix a dalt, o sigui si fa molta calor, es pot obrir lleugerament a partir del genoll cap amunt. Suficient strech pels moviments i no fa gaire soroll al moure. El meu us del short és ocasionalment en ski de muntanya en moments de molt fred (a un pic per exemple), per mi era important que fos lleuger i compressible, ja que la majoria del temps estarà a la motxilla.
