Sustainable return process

If your CIRC Pants LOOOP have had their day after many years of Ich bin raus- moments, it's very easy to return them to the cycle. We would like to give you an overview of how our returns process works and what steps you should take when returning your pants. Our goal is to make this process as smooth and easy as possible for you.

If you would like to return your old CIRC products, you can contact us via our contact form. You will then receive all further information about your return by e-mail.

We not only offer you a climate-neutral return, but also a free return. As soon as we receive your textiles, we check them thoroughly. We then pass them on to our partner RITTEC. The professionals there transform the materials into high-quality polyester for new products. In this way, we contribute to sustainability together.

Our central partner in the field of circular economy is RITTEC, a renowned company with the Revoltex brand. RITTEC specialises in the innovative processing of textiles and is known for its advanced technologies in the areas of textile recycling and reprocessing. In close cooperation with RITTEC, Schöffel recycles its textiles and returns them to a sustainable cycle. RITTEC transforms the textiles into high-quality polyester, which in turn is used to produce new, high-quality products. The partnership between Schöffel and RITTEC enables both companies to make an important contribution to the circular economy and to reducing the environmental impact of the textile industry.

For hygiene reasons, please wash your CIRC products before returning them to us. It is also important to ensure that you have not left any personal items in the pockets of the garments before returning them. Therefore, please check thoroughly if there are any valuables, money or personal documents in the pockets. We want to ensure that your privacy is protected and that no personal items are lost.

There is no time limit for returning Schöffel CIRC products. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

As soon as we receive your CIRC products, we take the time to check the textiles thoroughly. Then we hand them over to our partner RITTEC. The professionals there transform the materials into high-quality polyester for new products. By working together, we actively contribute to sustainability and set an example for a responsible future.

The CIRC Pants LOOOP are the most sustainable hiking pants Schöffel has ever made: In recent years our developers have been working flat out on material technologies that combine functionality and sustainability. Our idea of using recycled materials to make functional clothing that is itself recyclable has now taken shape with the CIRC Pants LOOOP and is being continuously developed further. The revolutionary mono-material concept allows for almost 100% recyclability! It is made of recycled material, breathable and water-repellent.

With the CIRC collection, we have created a sustainability cycle that really deserves the name: by sending your discarded functional clothing back to us, it can be processed into raw material for new pieces in the CIRC collection. It doesn't get any more sustainable than this!

The starting point for the production of CIRC Pants LOOOP is discarded functional clothing: This is shredded and processed into granulate, from which the yarn used to make the CIRC Pants LOOOP is extracted.

The CIRC Pants LOOOP are durable and if they are worn out after a few years, these innovative hiking pants can be returned to the cycle by our partners and themselves processed into new polyester and ultimately into new CIRC Pants LOOOP.

Our concept is convincing: in 2022 we received the ISPO Award for the CIRC Pants LOOOP.
